Below is a table of our costs for civil matters, based upon a fixed fee structure and charged at an hourly rate. These costs are simply a broad estimation and can be subject to change depending on the complexity of the case. The price transparency information is provided in accordance with the SRA Transparency Rules.

Please be aware our fees include an additional charge of 20% VAT. In addition to the cost of the time that members of the department spend on your file, other expenses such as court fees and photocopying, which are often referred to as disbursements, will inevitably have to be incurred by the firm from time to time on your behalf.

The Fixed fee is nonrefundable and does not includes disbursements

such as Court fee, Tribunal fees , Home office fee, NHS surcharge fees, Barristers fee, Expert fee , interpreter cost ,translation cost and any other fees associated with the case and not part of the Fixed fee.

We offer both Fixed Fees and Hourly rates:

Our service covers all the essential steps to resolve your matter efficiently, including:
  • Taking your instructions and reviewing relevant documentation.
  • Conducting appropriate searches.
  • Drafting and sending a Letter Before Action.
  • Handling payments received or, if necessary, drafting and issuing a court claim.
  • Applying to the court for judgment in default if no response is received.
  • Writing to the other side requesting payment upon judgment.
  • Advising on next steps if payment is not received within 14 days.
  • Telephone /Face-to-Face Consultation: to discuss your case and take instructions.
  • Legal Advice: Guidance regarding your potential claim or available defences.
  • Letter Before Action: A professionally prepared letter to the debtor or a defence document for the alleged debt.

Our Process for Debt Claims:

  1. Initial Letter Before Claim: A formal letter is sent to the debtor, allowing 21 days for payment.
  2. Asset Assessment: If payment is not made, we advise on whether the debtor’s financial status justifies proceeding to court.
  3. Court Claim Preparation: If viable, we prepare and issue a court claim. The court fee depends on the debt’s value (see fee structure below).
  4. Judgment and Enforcement: Once judgment is obtained, we follow up for payment or advise on enforcement options.

Most cases are resolved between 20- 24  weeks, provided no enforcement action is needed. If enforcement becomes necessary, resolution times will vary.

For a fixed fee consultation and initial letter, prices range between £450 and £700 plus VAT, depending on complexity and documentation required.

Hourly Rates for Further Steps:

If the matter cannot be resolved after the initial steps, our hourly rates range from £160 to £220 plus VAT will apply. Disbursements such as Barrister fees , court fees , expert fees ,interpreters fees, surveyors fees are not part of the fixed fee or hourly rates and are charged separately and depend on the debt’s value.

Important Notes:
  • The VAT element of our fee cannot be reclaimed from the debtor.
  • Interest and compensation may increase the debt’s value, potentially moving it into a higher cost band.
  • Enforcement actions (e.g., bailiffs) incur additional costs.

All cases will be handled and reviewed by the Principal solicitor Faizza Abla.

Disbursements: All disbursements will need to be paid for separately in addition to the fees for our services. Examples of disbursements include home office/visa application fees, court application fees, postage, interpreting/translation services, medical reports fees, expert report fees, mileage/travel expenses etc. This is not an exhaustive list and is meant purely as a guide.

CHECKING SERVICE

We can also assist you in checking the documents of your immigration case and thoroughly evaluate your case with honesty. We advise clients whom are submitting applications to the Home Office or filing a notice of appeal to the First Tier Tribunal to get it checked by an experienced, qualified immigration solicitor for a higher chance of success in your applications. The fixed fee rate is £450.00 for a straightforward application.

SAME DAY SERVICE

We provide same day service whereby we will accompany you to the Home Office now called Premium Service Centres and will assist you in submitting your application and obtaining the grant of visa on the same day.

Our Policy : All legal fees must be paid upfront into our Client Account prior to us undertaking any casework . The Online Application will not be submitted unless a full payment is paid into the Firm’s Account.
